Lacrosse is a fast-paced and dynamic sport that requires knowledgeable and experienced officials to enforce the rules and promote a safe and enjoyable environment for players and spectators.SDCLOA requires its officials to have the physical capability and mental aptitude to keep up with the game's fast demands. Our organization has an intensive training regime for lacrosse officials that involves a combination of rule knowledge, practical experience, and ongoing professional development. Through a 2-year probationary period each official will be evaluated and deemed certified if that individual has proven to grasp the rules, concepts, and physical demands of the game.
